The Coinbuk app is only available for download on the Andriod mobile device.
Select "Coinbuk TV" to watch videos or record a video to be entered into the contest.
Touch the big display to hide/show the like/dislike bar.
The video sliding bar can me moved from left to right by touching the bar.
The record button will allow you to describe the name, category, email address of submitter and username to be attached to the record video.
The video will record for 18 seconds.
Videos are displayed in the big display and video sliding bar from the newest to the left and the oldest videos to the right.
To view your video, exit the viewing display to the app home page. The app home page has the words "Coinbuk Tv" as a selectable icon and a log in icon.
Reselect the "Coinbuk Tv" icon and you will be able to see your video. Sometimes it can take up to 1 minute for the video to show depending upon user submissions.
To see new videos, exit the viewing display to the app home page.
Big Video Display
The big video display plays the newest videos first. The oldest videos are displayed last. The The big video display plays the video that is assoicated with the sound the user hears. The user can select the video and that will cause the like/dislike/report bar to appear. In addition the "Record" icon will appear as well. Pressing right below the video display will cause the video controls to appear.
The user can record a video to be displayed to all users accessing the Coinbuk app. The video is record live and cannot be edited once the upload has started. The Record icon appears when the user presses the video playing on the big video display. When the user presses the Record icon a pop-up appears that contains the information needed to record the video. The video title requires a name that contains characters only. The video category selection requires the video be associated with 1 of 4 categories, Animals, Children, General and Vehicles. The email address is the contact information that will be used to inform the user of winning a contest. The username is the name assigned to the video.
The video sliding bar
The big video display plays the newest videos first. The oldest videos are displayed last. A user can press the video sliding bar and move the view of videos to the left or right to view other videos. Also displays new videos on the video sliding bar automatically without user interaction. The videos start playing once the user has the videos in view. The like/dislike/flag bar does not apply to the videos playing the video sliding bar.
When the user presses the like icon when there is no previous like icon selection, the video on big display is registered as liked by this device and the number of likes for this video increases by one. When the user presses the like icon after the like icon has turned yellow, the video on the big display is registered as being unliked by this device and the number of likes for this particular video decreases by one.
When the user presses the dislike icon when there is no previous dislike icon selection, the video on big display is registered as disliked by this device and the number of dislikes for this video increases by one. When the user presses the dislike icon after the dislike icon has turned yellow, the video on the big display is registered as being undisliked by this device and the number of dislikes for this particular video decreases by one.
A user can report inappropriate video content that should be reviewed by Coinbuk. When the user selects the Report Flag icon a pop-up menu appears asking for email address and username. Once the user completes the information and selects the Submit button, the video playing on the big display is reported to Coinbuk for review.
The Coinbuk app tracks user data to bring a more customized experience. The location is tracked at one time when the user begins viewing interactions. We request access to your location permission. Thereafter, the location is tracked at one time when the user selects the likes/dislikes/reports/records icons. The information that is tracked is device id, email address, username and location. During video play sometimes the Coinbuk app needs to access the Coinbuk app data to improve Coinbuk performance. Due to this reason, we request access to the user storage permission. The user can refuse this request but it may cause low performance of the Coinbuk app.
To experience best performance, its recommend that a user clears the Coinbuk App data and cache before each use. To clear the Coinbuk App data and cache, select the Coinbuk App Information. Once inside the Coinbuk App information select the Storage option. Once inside the Storage option, select Clear Data. This should clear both the Coinbuk App data and Coinbuk App cache. If the Coinbuk App Cache is not cleared select the Clear Cache option.
